Your Help Is Needed to Move Forward with Phase II: The South Addition
This has been an exciting spring for Tau Sigma Chapter! Renovation on 2120 Lincoln Way began in June. Despite a few delays, we are still planning for a January 2017 move-in date for the actives and a full house in the spring.
Construction Update
The Tau Sigma construction site will get even busier in the coming months. We are amidst the demolition phase right now: floor coverings, walls, doors, and door frames are all coming down. Once we are down to the studs, the new layout of rooms will take shape and we will begin the desperately needed transformation of the old house. Also on the docket for this summer is resurfacing the parking lot and, with your help, starting work on the south addition. Your commitment is critical for a successful campaign.
The vision of an updated Tau Sigma chapter house is finally taking shape. It is an exciting time and a tangible symbol of the hard work and effort our campaign volunteers have invested in this endeavor. However, there is still much to be done. To date, we have raised over $1,133,173. This is a fantastic accomplishment. However, we are still $866,827 short of successfully reaching our newly revised goal of $2 million needed in order to commence construction on a new addition and complete the project.
In order to continue the strength and success of Tau Sigma, we are asking for your help. With $866,827 left to meet our goal, we ask that if you have not contributed, please ll out the enclosed pledge card and return your commitment today. Please, do not delay. We need your support to ensure our renovation timeline stays on track and that a decision can be made on the addition. If you have already contributed, please consider adding a year to your pledge schedule or rally your class to make a group gift. If you have not contributed, now is the time! As you can see, this project is moving forward and we need the support of every brother to achieve success.
